The Onawa Racing and Events Complex (Iowa) board of directors announced today, Darrell J (DJ) Lindner as Manager of the facility effective immediately. Lindner, who is no stranger to Midwest drag racing operations, is ready for the challenge. “I am very excited to be a part of such a unique opportunity and see a lot of potential for growth from a solid base” said Lindner.
Married to wife Michele with five children from ages 10 to 17, DJ has been in racing since 1994 including having the pleasure of managing at the Thunder Valley Raceways in South Dakota.
One opportunity Lindner is excited about includes expanding the number of OREC shareholders as he understands that is the key in continuing to upgrade the facility. “We have hundreds of shares available for purchase into the facility which is not saddled with debt, he continued, so if you are looking to invest, this is one heck of an opportunity I would be happy to discuss.”
